SGVB++can be used to detect C1 in purified C1 complex (product number A098) ａnd normal human serum samples. In these experiments, all components were diluted in SGVB++and EA cells were washed into this buffer. In binding experiments, such as detecting the binding of C5, factor B, or factor H to EsC3b cells (sheep red blood cells with surface bound C3b) or ZymosanC3b cells, it also benefits from being performed in SGVB++. The combination of SGVB++can be enhanced as much as 10 times compared with the use of buffer solutions with physiological ionic strength (such as GVB or PBS).
